Recently, ET Solar announced that ET Solutions AG, its wholly-owned subsidiary, has accomplished grid connection of a 13 MWp ground-mounted solar power plant for UK renewable energy investor, Belltown Power.
Code named “Park Farm”, the project is near the village of Measham in northwest Leicestershire, and has been successfully grid-connected under the UK’s Renewable Obligation program. The 13 MWp plant that is powered by ET solar modules will provide electricity for approximately 3,900 UK households. Moreover, the plant’s clean, renewable energy will reduce up to 5,800 tonnes of CO2 pollutants from the atmosphere annually.
Belltown Power’s CEO, Michael Kaplan, said, “Park Farm will enable the local community to fulfill its clean-energy goals: increased energy self-sufficiency, decreased electricity costs, and a reduced carbon footprint. This is an important project, and we chose ET Solar as our partner because of their high quality, reliable solar modules and their industry-leading EPC services.”
ET Solar’s President and CEO, Dennis She, noted, “This project marks ET Solar’s latest large-scale solar development in the UK, furthering our goal of providing green energy and green jobs to the country. We are pleased to provide our professional services to Belltown Power, and delighted to help the community introduce clean, solar energy into their electricity supply mix.”
