WEST HAVEN, Connecticut, USA, June 18, 2015- Over 100 Enthone customers, local dignitaries and employees recently gathered for the official grand opening of the Enthone Shanghai Technical & Manufacturing Center in Fengxian, P.R. China. Event participants included many of the world’s leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to the automotive, electronics, building hardware and surface finishing industries.
The Center represents a total investment that exceeds USD 30 million and encompasses over ten acres (42,000 sq. meters). The campus includes a premier technology center, a raw material and finished goods warehouse, and an advanced manufacturing building.
Alent plc Chairman Peter Hill CBE addressed the guests and pledged the company’s firm commitment to the China market. “This state-of-the-art facility will enable us to serve our customers more effectively in meeting the fast changing needs of their markets. We look forward to playing an active role in the local economy, and we are already thinking of expansion,” he said.
