▪ ENcome ranked No. 1 independent service provider in Europe
▪ ENcome ranked No. 2 independent service provider globally
▪ Assets under Management approximately 1.1 GW
Klagenfurt am Wörthersee (13/02/2017): The very successful business development of
ENcome has now also been confirmed by top ratings from independent industry experts.
On the backdrop of the ongoing expansion of their O&M services in 2017, the recently
issued GTM Research report “Global Solar PV O&M 2017-2022: Markets, Services and
Competitors” shows top rankings in the independent O&M service provider category,
where ENcome was ranked No. 1 in Europe, and No. 2 globally.
“With more than 1 GW of PV capacity under management at the end of Q3 2017, ENcome
is the largest independent PV O&M service provider in Europe and the second largest on
a global scale. I am impressed with ENcome’s growth in 2017, achieved organically in a
highly-competitive and fragmented European market. ENcome’s successful development
illustrates a shift of the market towards professional O&M service providers”, said Cedric
Brehaut from SOLICHAMBA, the industry’s preeminent analyst and author of the newly
released GTM Research report.
“We are very pleased with the GTM rankings, which give evidence of our solid business
performance in a competitive environment”, says Andreas Leimbach. “The market
increasingly realizes that our professional O&M services are the major driver of yields, and
long-term asset quality, not just a means to reduce costs”, explains Robin Hirschl.
According to GTM Research, the total addressable market for PV O&M is expected to have
reached 395 GW worldwide at the end of 2017. It will more than double by 2022 to exceed
900 GW worldwide.
ENcome intends to expand further, at least at market growth rates. Besides organic growth
in Europe and Australia, ENcome also envisages further strategic partnerships and
acquisitions in Europe following their “Buy&Build”-Strategy consequently.
