At EU PVSEC, Emerson is demonstrating its Full Range of Yield-Maximising, Fault-Tolerant Photovoltaic Technologies
PARIS, October 1 2013 – Emerson (NYSE:EMR) is exhibiting its full range of yield-maximising, fault-tolerant photovoltaic products at the EU PVSEC show in Paris. Visitors to the Emerson stand will be able to see inverters, string boxes and new Ovation PV SCADA software, and will be assisted by Emerson’s expert technical staff.
Emerson inverters maximise yield with multi-master modular architecture which scales power capacity to match demand, maintaining the inverter in its most efficient zone from early in the morning to late in the day. Additionally, Emerson inverters have a high fault tolerance as any failed inverter section is automatically isolated allowing the healthy part of the inverter to operate as normal which minimises losses due to failure.
The new Ovation PV SCADA solution boasts an impressive and user friendly inverter fleet management and power plant control capability. Ovation for PV is focused on systems of greater than 1 MW and maintains competitiveness with other top tier monitoring solutions while providing the option to host the plant data remotely or provide the turn-key equipment to the customer for data ownership. Emerson can also supply IEC 61439-2 certified string connection boxes and meteorological instrumentation.
