EKO Instruments unveils a new generation of high-end ISO 9060 secondary standard pyranometers

only meant for research purposes, the EKO MS-80 secondary standard pyranometer will prove you wrong. This new generation sensor broke with the traditional pyranometer architecture. The innovative design enabled a break through in unprecedented low offset behaviour and fast thermopile sensor response.

The compact sensor with single dome is immune to offsets and easily integrates all value added features such as a ventilator, heater and different communication interfaces. Providing the lowest measurement uncertainties under all atmospheric conditions, the MS-80 is made for long-term unattended operation. It comes with 5 years warranty and has 5 years recommended re-calibration interval, making this sensor a perfect tool for both solar energy research and PV power plant operation.
