Delta expands its transformerless line

Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH has expanded its advanced transformerless inverter series for the European market with three new models; a 6 kW, 8 kW, and 12 kW inverter. These models are ideal both for residential or small to medium commercial PV systems.

The new small power 3-phase transformerless inverters allow Delta to offer more versatility for building PV plants for medium size residential applications. Starting at 6 kW and moving up to 30 kW, many plant sizes can be created with one or several high quality SOLIVIA TL inverter models.

As with the previous models in the TL-series, the new inverters have been designed to support asymmetrical loading (33/67%), and offer a maximum efficiency up to 98.3%, which increases yields in such applications as east/west roof installations, where modules are orientated in different directions. All the TL inverters have been designed to extract maximum profitability from the PV system.

Also featured, as with all off the SOLIVIA inverters, is a rugged aluminum die-cast housing with an IP65 rated electronics enclosure protection class, allowing for outdoor installation in harsh environments. A wide input voltage range of 250V to 1000V gives the system planner a high flexibility in combining modules and strings for a PV system without compromising on the efficiency of the inverter.

The TL models are fully compatible with Delta’s advanced monitoring system, SOLIVIA Monitor 2.0, the SOLIVIA Live app designed for smartphones and with third-party monitoring solutions from Meteocontrol and Solar Log.
