InnoLas Solutions GmbH grows steadily thanks to advanced PERC and cell cutting technologies for solar cell manufacturing.
InnoLas Solutions GmbH enjoyed a successful year 2014 with continuos growth and major technological breakthroughs. The German company’s laser systems proved popular with solar cell manufacturers around the globe. This success continues in 2015: Already in the first quarter of the year, InnoLas Solutions received new orders for its high throughput laser machine for PERC technology equal to an overall production capacity of nearly one Gigawatt of solar cells per year. And still there are several more solar cell manufacturers, who are currently planning to implement this process in their production lines.
The Ultrafast PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) process helps to increase solar cell efficiency, thus reducing the overall cost of solar power. InnoLas Solutions won the PV tools category of the Solar Awards 2014 for its ILM-2 laser system and the ultrafast Laser Contact Opening (LCO) Process for the PERC technology.
