• Anjan Turlapati to take over as CEO replacing Stefan Säuberlich
• Säuberlich to advise SOLON Energy after successful restructuring of the company
• No further changes in management planned
Berlin, September 3, 2012. Anjan Turlapati is to take over the position of CEO at SOLON Energy GmbH. He will replace Stefan Säuberlich, who is shifting his focus onto new tasks but will remain at the Berlin solar energy company in a consultancy position for the months to come.
Reason for the change in management is the successfully completed reorientation of SOLON Energy GmbH. The company has been able, in cooperation with new owner Microsol, to prove itself in a difficult market environment. Production has been expanded in Berlin. After a successful restructuring of operations, SOLON is to be further integrated into the Microsol Group.
“We have taken advantage of this opportunity to give SOLON good prospects again. I thus consider my most important task fulfilled,” said Stefan Säuberlich about the decision. “I am happy to be able to hand over to my successor a well-motivated team and a sustainable business concept. I wish SOLON continued success.”
Anjan Turlapati, co-founder of Microsol Group, thanked Säuberlich for his commitment and spoke confidently of SOLON’s future as a company. “Stefan Säuberlich is leaving behind a well established company. He did an excellent restructuring job and has been the right partner for the fresh start of SOLON Energy. We have prosperous opportunities in the international solar energy market and are on the right path to taking advantage of them.”
CTO, Dr. Lars Podlowski, will remain head of the technical departments, foremost in research and development. Further changes in management will not be made.
