With the COVID-19 pandemic placing much of the working world on hold, the companies still in operation have had to adapt both how they work and in some cases what they do.
Cargostore Worldwide have continued to support the Dutch offshore energy sector by supplying Refrigerated containers to store vital foods and medicines for extended periods onshore. Due to the pandemic, offshore cargo runs are running less frequently, increasing the demand for refrigerated units and subsequently making these containers harder to locate.
Cargostore have a range of ISO and DNV 2.7-1 certified stock available from Depots in Rotterdam including Refrigerated Containers, Dry Storage, Open Tops, Half Heights and more all in a range of sizes.
Furthermore they supplied two 40ft ISO containers to Den Helder airport as a ‘quarantine shelter’ which acted as a sanitized area for workers returning onshore to change safely, whilst being cheaper and faster to set up than constructing a building.
With container workshops still operational, bespoke modifications to ISO and DNV containers are also available for lease or hire, which can have additional shelving for equipment, lighting or even extra doors and windows.
