Cadmos Energías Renovables launches a 6.2 MW park in Cáceres, Spain.


The Spanish developer of photovoltaic projects inaugurates its
biggest plant carried out so far in Spain. Cadmos Energías Renovables, has set up a 6.2 MW solar park in Cañamero (Cáceres, Spain).

The facility, which covers an area of 32 hectares, has 74.000 Gadir Solar a-SIR thin-film panels. Its energy output, equivalent to the consumption of 2.200 homes, will prevent the emission of 3.800 tons of greenhouse gases that generate the combustion of coal to generate this electricity. Cadmos, project developer and EPC, has had Immodo Income Sol as the main subcontractor for the implementation of the facilities, and Dutch bank Triodos Bank as final investor.The total project investment is 25 M €.
