Products make an impression on both sides of the Atlantic
(Wels, 27/6/19) The new Fronius hybrid inverter Primo GEN24 Plus impressed the expert jury for the prestigious German Plus X Award and was heralded as “product of the year” in four categories. The system took prime position on the podium in the categories of High Quality, Ease of Use, Functionality and Ecology. With features such as the various need-based emergency power variants and ease of use, this system forms the basis for the ideal photovoltaic (PV) solution that leaves nothing to be desired. Fronius picked up another award in the USA: Here, the PV Evolutions Lab voted the Symo Advanced inverter as the “Top Performer 2019”.
“Like the RedDot and IF Design Award, the Plus X Award is one of the most well-known international design and innovation awards that recognises manufacturers of products with superior quality,” said Martin Hackl, Global Director Solar Energy at Fronius International GmbH. “The fact that our Primo GEN24 Plus has achieved the accolade of “product of the year” shows that, with this hybrid inverter, we now have another premium product in our portfolio.”
The Primo GEN24 Plus is the all-in-one solution with an integrated energy management system and an integrated basic emergency power supply. From 2020, the equipment will be available as a single-phase version (Primo GEN24 Plus) and a three-phase version (Symo GEN24 Plus) and ideal for worldwide use. They provide all the benefits of the SnapINverter and boast additional features, such as being incredibly quick to commission using an app and offering the fastest service plan on the market. The Primo GEN24 impressed the jury in four of the seven Plus X Award categories: High Quality, Ease of Use, Functionality and Ecology. The jury of specialist editors, designers and industry experts voted it product of the year. “With the GEN24, we provide both installers and end customers with a complete energy ecosystem. This enables them to develop and advance the energy revolution according to their own individual requirements, thus also enabling them to remain cost effective and profitable,” explained Martin Hackl.
