lobal subsea equipment specialist, Ashtead Technology, has underlined its commitment to continued growth with the appointment of Stephen Steele as corporate development director.
Mr Steele brings more than 20 years of oil and gas experience to the business and will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s market position as it aims to drive further international expansion and widen its service offering.
Based at the company’s UK headquarters in Aberdeen, Mr Steele will lead Ashtead’s acquisition activity while developing strategic partnerships to support the company’s robust growth strategy.
Prior to joining Ashtead, Mr Steele was vice president of i-Tech Services at Subsea 7 where he defined and implemented the company’s life of field strategy to enhance project delivery and the provision of enabling technologies.
He has also held a number of senior leadership roles, both in the UK and Norway, including vice president of sales, marketing and strategy at Subsea 7 and group supply chain director at Cooper Cameron, now OneSubsea.
