Satteins, Austria, 27.02.2025. PV mounting specialists AEROCOMPACT is today expanding its facade solutions, with the COMPACTWALL TR substructure.
The patented long rail TR system is already established on their COMPACTMETAL roof systems with sandwich panels; this is due to it redirecting all compressive and tensile forces through the sandwich into the building structure, so the panels are neither compressed nor damaged. Consequently, it is completely transferable onto the COMPACTMETAL TR system for solar facades.
Distributing loads intelligently
“Sandwich panels are not designed for additional loads, and the installation of PV modules can lead to distortion and damage,” explains AEROCOMPACT’s Head of Product Management Albert Vonbun.
AEROCOMPACT uses its established COMPACTMETAL TR system for the facade solution. The extremely stable rails, transfers the loads created by wind, suction and pressure forces, via the screw heads of the sandwich fasteners, into the wall stanchions, these can be made of either wood or steel. Therefore, the thin sheet screws absorb the shear forces, the sandwich drilling screw transfers the wind loads directly into the building structure.
Thanks to the force transmission via the rails, users have the free choice of modules, regardless of the span width. The raised rail design ensures optimum ventilation of the PV modules.
COMPACTWALL TR will be available throughout Europe from February 27. Just in time for the market launch, all AEROCOMPACT facade solutions can now be planned by using the AEROTOOL software. By customer request, the company also offers planning as a separate service.
AEROCOMPACT at Intersolar Europe
AEROCOMPACT will be presenting COMPACTWALL TR and other new products for the first time at Intersolar Europe, the leading trade fair for the solar industry. Visitors will be pleased to find AEROCOMPACT from 7TH – 9th May at the Intersolar Europe fairgrounds in Munich, Hall A6, Stand 560. AEROCOMPACT offers journalists individual one-on-one meetings with the product and sales managers.
