Advantech shown their latest products for the Wind industry at EWEA 2013 – EWEA 2013 Annual Event is Europe’s premier wind energy industrial event comprising an extensive exhibition and comprehensive conference. Advantech’s UNO-2184G is an high-performance Intel 2nd generation Core i7-2655LE/847/807UE grade controller that supports PCI-104 with daughterboard expansion, 3 x display, 6 x USB, and 2 x Mini PCIe socket. It also features WLAN, 3G expansion and compatibility with Windows 7. The 4 x Gigabit LANs on the UNO-2184G support teaming function with fault tolerance, link aggregation, and load balance features. The UNO-2184G is a high end computing platform designed to support applications with tremendous data volume and 3D content.
Alongside the UNO-2184G, Advantech showed the EKI-6343AGN: EKI-6340 series are perfect wireless Mesh AP for your outdoor deployment. With self-healing & self-forming capabilities, the wireless network is free from interruption even part of Mesh nodes failed. It’s especially critical to infrastructures where wired solutions are hard to deploy.
The ultra-fast roaming seamlessly enables the applications of high-speed mobility. The low latency and high throughput multiple hopping features greatly enables the extension of network coverage.
This high throughput Mesh network perfectly covers growing rich data demands such as video security, surveillance and entertainment. Comprehensive security features prevent system from intrusion. IP67 sturdy waterproof enclosure with wide temperature design enables excellent performances under all harsh outdoor environments.
With brand-new ID design, TPC-2140WP series provide high resolution 21.5″ display and PCT multi-touch in 16:9 wide format. By embedding AMD T56E 1.65GHz processor with external APU, TPC-TPC-2140WP can support advanced graphical performance in more complex applications. Built-in function and home key button for greater user usability and operating safety. TPC-TPC-2140WP series also support mini-PCIe slot for communication function expansion. The opening side cover is designed for easy maintenance of Cfast/HDD/Mini-PCIe components.
To complete the offer, Advantech showed also the S10A, a semi-rugged mobile tablet PC featuring a 10.4″ XGA resolution TFT LCD panel and an Intel Atom Z530XL 1.6 GHz processor.
It comes with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a 2M pixel camera, fingerprint recognition, and Bluetooth 2.0 built-in. S10A’s optional devices include RFID module with antenna, a 1D barcode scanner and an MSR card reader. S10A is a fully functional communication device suitable for any outdoor application. It carries standard military grade MIL-STD-810F and DO-160D certifications, as well as an IP54 rating for protection against dirt, dust and water. S10A can also survive a 3-foot drop. Advantech’s S10A is a strong tablet PC for industrial and commercial use in any environment.
