Agreement signed between Fiera Milano and Expoenergie
The 14th edition of Solarexpo to be held May 8-10, 2013 in Milan
Milano-Feltre, 10 February 2012 – Solarexpo, the international exhibition and conference on renewable energy and distributed generation, is set to move to Milan’s exhibition centre in 2013 thanks to an agreement signed between Fiera Milano spa and Expoenergie srl, the organiser of Solarexpo.

Solarexpo is Italy’s leading renewable energy trade fair and the third largest solar event in the world. “The new positioning of Solarexpo in Milan represents another step in the evolution of our event that during its 13 years has always embraced innovation to match market dynamics,” stated Luca Zingale, Solarexpo’s scientific director and CEO of Expoenergie. “In this scenario, Fiera Milano provides an important platform geared towards attaining the goals of our internationalisation strategy that aims to address the challenges of those players willing to compete in the solar and other renewable energy markets, which are now totally globalised.”

Solarexpo today is an event that covers 100,000 square metres of exhibition space, gathers more than 1,000 exhibiting companies – 40% of them coming from 30 different countries – and attracts over 70,000 trade visitors. Its calendar of conferences includes 60 events and is attended by over 6,000 people and 350 speakers from Italy and abroad. Forty different sector associations are involved.
