4eco to launch data monitoring add-on for the immerSUN at Ecobuild 2015

Live data direct to your smartphone makes solar sense!

4eco, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of microgen diversion technology, will launch a brand new data monitoring system at this year’s Ecobuild exhibition (03-05 March). Available from April, myimmerSUN will allow users to track and download live and historic energy usage data – all at the touch of a button.

A plug and play hardware update, the innovative system will work in harmony with 4eco’s second generation immerSUN, monitoring real-time data and enabling statistics to be viewed on a smartphone or desktop via a dedicated website. From import and export figures to self-consumption rates and even financial savings, myimmerSUN will provide users with a way to track their microgen performance and build an ongoing record of their energy use.

All second generation (T1060) immerSUN controllers have a built-in wireless interface as standard. This allows connectivity with both a wireless sensor device and an Ethernet bridge device, the latter being part of the new remote monitoring system. All users need to do is press a button to pair the devices, before following on-screen instructions to enable full remote connectivity. The device will even allow you to control your water boost settings, via the immersion heater.

Jodi Huggett, director of 4eco, commented: “With more than 25,000 devices installed across the UK, the immerSUN continues to lead the way as the market’s most efficient, effective and fully-compliant microgen diversion device. Adding myimmerSUN to our range will provide eco-conscious homeowners with an innovative addition to the immerSUN family.

“Launching the new product at this year’s Ecobuild exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to engage directly with sustainable designers and energy professionals from across the country, showing how easy it is to switch to green energy supply and self-consume, rather than export the power generated.”

4eco’s myimmerSUN data monitoring system will be available from April 2015. For more information, visit www.immersun.co.uk, or meet the team on stand S1160 at Ecobuild 2015.
