4Eco, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of microgen switching devices, is set to showcase its market-leading green gadget – the immerSUN – at this year’s Solar Energy UK exhibition.
Taking place at The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham between 14-16 October, the dedicated solar trade show will see over 2,500 delegates visit the NEC to find out more about the latest sector developments and most innovative sustainable technologies.
The 4Eco team will be present on stand G32, talking to visitors about how self-consumption can help the UK make important steps towards achieving an environmentally-friendly future, as well as demonstrating the importance of effectively utilising green energy in the home; using working models of its next-generation immerSUN device. The team will also be discussing the importance of certified electronics; explaining the frequently reported dangerous defects associated with uncertified systems – such as phase angle methods.
Sleek, sophisticated and self-sufficient, the immerSUN is 4Eco’s state-of-the-art surplus microgen energy controller, designed with ease of installation, cost savings and energy efficiency in mind. Developed for both commercial and domestic installations, the device works in tandem with renewable technologies, such as PV panels or wind turbines, to divert green energy directly to an immersion heater, storage heater, and/or electric underfloor heating.
This prevents renewable energy from being exported to the national grid and can therefore reduce an average energy bill by over £250 annually, as well as maximising the benefits of self-generated supply.
Already installed in over 17,000 properties nationwide, the immerSUN leads the way in next-generation energy-saving technology. In fact, since its introduction in 2012, the clever device has helped the nation to self-consume the same amount of energy that a small power station would generate every year.
“Here at 4Eco, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of capability and leading the way in highly-efficient renewable technologies,” commented Jodi Huggett, director of 4Eco. “We’ve exhibited at Solar Energy UK every year since introducing the immerSUN to the UK market, and find it an excellent opportunity to discuss the latest eco trends with solar professionals from across the country.
“As well as showing delegates how easy it is to switch to green energy supply, we’ll also be talking to them about installing certified and safe renewable technologies. Earlier this year, the immerSUN achieved certification for all international harmonics and electronic safety guidelines; making it the only diversion device on the market to do so.
“Our goal for Solar Energy UK is to talk to more people about certification standards and the importance of safety in self-consumption.”
Different from any other system on the market, the immerSUN works with all microgeneration systems and is able to monitor fluctuations at a rate ten times faster to the nearest battery-powered competitor. Propriety truSINETM Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) control technology completely removes any risk of overload by keeping the delivered power as a true sine wave, regardless of any power spikes, making the device unique and capable of extraordinary performance.
