SEaB Energy strengthens its Advisory Board as it gears up for export growth

SEaB Energy, one of the UK’s brightest innovators of waste to energy technology, has appointed two new highly respected Advisory Board members as it ramps up its global expansion plans. In their advisory capacity, Ronald (Ron) Sams and Allan Barton will bring their global leadership skills to boost the company’s commercial plans and streamline its operational activities.

Commenting on the appointments Sandra Sassow, SEaB Energy’s CEO and Co-Founder, said:

“Ron and Allan are renowned international leaders in their respective fields of engineering and resource management which, together with their proven experience in delivering transformational change and market development, will enable us to expand more quickly in our key markets of North America, Europe and Asia”.

Ron has held a number of international operational and MD positions in the engineering sector, including Executive Operational responsibility for Agusta-Westland Helicopters UK. Ron has also led a transformational change improvement programme with the UK Ministry of Defence and held the role Group Operation and Technology Executive for Aggreko. With his experience of supply chain management and delivering multi million dollar international projects, Ron will be advising directly on SEaB Energy’s operational strategy.

Allan Barton has worked in the global resources and waste sector for 30 years and has a proven record in developing and operating waste management businesses. Allan led Arup’s global resource and waste business and was previously Managing Director of Shanks East London, where he was responsible for successfully delivering one of the UK’s largest integrated municipal waste management contracts. With his vast international technical, and commercial experience, Alan will using his talents to support SEaB Energy’s sales teams.

Ron and Allan will join SEaB Energy’s other Advisory Board members, Kerry Ritz, a global technology expert and adviser to high-growth companies, and Philip Ward who, at the UK Department of the Environment, was directly involved in the establishment of the Carbon Trust and the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP).

SEaB Energy’s patented ‘Power in a box’ small-scale power plant turns food and organic waste into energy, water and fertilizer directly on the site of where the waste is produced. This eliminates the costly, and harmful, movement of waste and provides the waste producer with a continuous revenue stream that will achieve payback in less than two years. The company most recently scooped the Renewable Energy Project of the Year at the 2017 BusinessGreen Leaders Awards held on the evening June 28th 2017.

About SEaB Energy

SEaB Energy Limited is a UK company, designing and commercialising ground-breaking technology which creates renewable energy, water and fertiliser from onsite organic waste.

Our award-winning and patented FLEXIBUSTER™ and MUCKBUSTER™ are industrial appliances that use a biological process called anaerobic digestion to convert organic waste into valuable resources. These small-scale waste-to-energy systems are automatically controlled and remotely monitored, capturing data for sustainability reporting.

The FLEXIBUSTER™ and MUCKBUSTER™ offer disruptive on-site alternatives to centralised waste processing, removing the necessity and associated costs, diesel consumption and carbon emissions of transporting waste. The systems have been retrofitted into global mega-city buildings and specified into new urban initiatives to convert individual building waste onsite.

Our clients include Fortune 50 companies, hospitals, non-profits, multinational property developers and hypermarkets. We manufacture our product and use local agents and value-added resellers for market entry and support. We have clients in four countries and representatives in ten countries.
