Reef Subsea Dredging & Excavation (RSDE) completes the Draugen Infill project for A/S Norske Shell with Ocean Installer


Reef Subsea Dredging & Excavation has successfully completed on another rock removal project for A/S Norske Shell over an 11-week period in the Draugen Field, located in License PL093 (Block 6407/9) in the Haltenbanken area some 140km north of Kristiansund, Norway.

The project was contracted by Ocean Installer for A/S Norske Shell and the work was performed from Ocean Installer’s operated offshore construction vessel ‘Normand Mermaid’.

The scope of work for Reef Subsea Dredging & Excavation included providing the supervision of necessary equipment and personnel to complete the rock removal to allow installation of new oil production and gas lift lines, umbilical’s and re-routing of existing lines.
