The countdown has begun! Only four weeks left until the deadline for nominations for the “Energy Award powered by Joule & RENEXPO®”. The award is being presented for the third time in collaboration with the agricultural publisher Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag. “The response to our call for nominations has been huge so far,” says Elisabetta Alberti, organizer and project manager of the RENEXPO®. “The nominations that have already come in this year show the amazing engagement and potential of the industry.”
The Energy Award will be presented again this year to distinguished figures in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors that have made a huge impact. “People who have shown a lot of personal dedication to the development of the sector are the focus,” notes Johann Wörle, editor-in-chief of the energy sector publication Joule. “The groundbreaking technologies and solutions that are presented are always quite impressive.” The prize is awarded in the categories of wood energy, heat pumps, energy efficient building and renovation, solar technology and cogeneration up to 200 kW.
Nominations can be submitted online at www.renexpo.de/energy-award-Bewerbungen.html. Experts that have proven to be leaders in the sector can also be nominated. An independent jury will select the winners from the submitted nominations.
Deadline for nominations is July 15th, 2011
The presentation of the awards will take place on Thursday September 22nd in the Golden Hall of Augsburg City Hall. The prize winners will be presented on www.renexpo.de as well as www.joule-online.de and in the magazine Joule, giving them the opportunity to present their ideas to a wider audience.
