Neuchâtel, September 2020 – Indeotec SA (Switzerland) reports the successful delivery of two of its Octopus-2 machines to new customers, namely HZB (Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin) in Germany and SPIC (State Power Investment Corporation) in China. Despite the Covid-19 situation and several weeks of confinement, Indeotec SA worked in close collaboration with all key product and service suppliers to complete machines’ assemblies in Q2-2020. The versatile Octopus-2 cluster machines comprised both the classic PECVD technology as well as the latest version of the innovative and unique proprietary PECVD Mirror technology. The factory acceptance tests and baseline recipes transfer for HJT passivation with intrinsic and doped a-Si:H, have been completed and proved to be very robust, and repeatable. Projects were delivered and installed at customers’ sites.
“Our Mirror technology is gaining a certain momentum in the HJT and Perovskite Tandem solar cells activities and initiatives globally. These orders confirm the trust of our customers in our leading expertise in the PECVD domain. We are very proud to have HZB as a new customer and collaboration partner, as well as entering the Chinese market with SPIC” states Dr. Omid Shojaei, CEO of Indeotec.
