China Power 2011, a forum of the highest level in the energy industry in China, will be staged concurrently with Clean Energy Expo China 2011 from June 22- 24 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. This double event is slated to be the most emblematic of its kind in 2011.
Held biennially, China Power 2011 is a government-led gathering of China’s key energy agencies and power enterprises to discuss current and foreseeable issues uniquely faced by the domestic industry. It is initiated by the China Electricity Council (CEC) which is also one of the organizers of Clean Energy Expo China and supported by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) and the National Energy Administration (NEA) as government supporters.
The last forum in Tianjin in 2009 involved senior State Council advisors from the central government who are responsible in energy policy-making as speakers. It also saw the participation of over 1,000 high-level management from major power suppliers in China, international organizations and research institutions, local and foreign energy enterprises, equipment manufacturers, solutions providers,
project consultants and other relevant service providers. With such strong turnout at China Power 2009, attendees can look forward to benefit from the forum in 2011 as it offers in-depth insights into the China energy market.
