EuPD Research’s industry seal validates trust and satisfaction of installers in Europe and Australia with BYD’s Battery-Box energy storage series
February 12 2019 – BYD Co. Ltd, the world’s leading supplier of rechargeable lithium batteries, has been awarded the “Top Brand PV 2019” in the category storage for both the European and the Australian market. The industry seal validates the trust installers and customers in these markets have in the BYD’s storage solutions such as the Battery-Box product series. As observed by EuPD Research, the company was also able to tripple it’s market share in Germany from 4 percent to 12 percent, achieve an overall growth in the European market to now 11 percent and reached a market share of 15.4 percent in Australia.
Based on the comprehensive annual surveys among installation companies and end users, EuPD Research awards the seal to companies that convinced the market with performed excellence in all business aspects. The “Top Brand PV” industry seal of approval is awarded on the basis of a multi-stage analysis by EuDP Research. Qualified statements on brand perception and distribution form the foundation of the assessment. In addition to a neutral and unfiltered appraisal of their own brand for the manufacturers, the seal also provides an orientation for both installers and end customers.
BYD was the first Chinese manufacturer awarded with this industry recognition for storage solutions in 2018 after launching their Battery-Box solutions series un Europe. As a result of BYD’s international market expansion, this year the company also received the Top Brand PV recognition for Australia in addition to the European market.
