Last year the company purchased a roughly 9,000 sq.m piece of land from the City of Chemnitz for the building.

“With the new building we are maintaining our consistent course of growth,” explains Tino Petsch, CEO of 3D-Micromac AG. With the positive development in the market and increasing demand for laser systems for micromachining, the company is investing roughly six million euros in the building and equipment. The number of employees is to be increased, too. The company was founded in Chemnitz with six employees in 2002.

The cornerstone was officially laid on the June 3, 2016. The plan is to occupy the headquarters already in December 2016. The special thing about the building will be the customer application center.
