Bringing together technical expertise, industry debate and new opportunities for collaboration, RE+ 26 will explore some of the practical challenges facing the clean energy industry.

Electricity demand is rising, placing new demands on generation, networks and energy infrastructure. From 16th to 19th November 2026, RE+ 26 will bring the energy industry to Las Vegas, Nevada, with an expected 37,000 attendees and 1,300 exhibitors. The four-day event will combine technical education, industry discussion and opportunities to develop commercial partnerships.

Originally known as Solar Power International (SPI), the event now covers solar, energy storage, hydrogen, microgrids, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and wind. Its expanded programme reflects the growing links between energy technologies and the infrastructure needed to deploy them.

The event is organised by RE+ Events and supported by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). According to the organisers, its proceeds support SEIA and SEPA research, education, advocacy and advisory work.

General session: leadership, technology and deployment

The general session, open to all passholders, begins with Scott Moskowitz, Vice President of Market Strategy and Public Affairs at Qcells and SEIA Board Chair, and Peter Muhoro, Chief Strategy, Technology and Innovation Officer at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) and SEPA Board Chair.

They will be followed by Sheri Givens, President and CEO of SEPA, and Tim Pawlenty, President and CEO of SEIA.

Kurt Kelty, Vice President of Battery & Sustainability at General Motors (GM), will deliver a keynote before joining Claire Williams, former Deputy Team Principal of Williams Racing, for a discussion titled ‘The race to scale: leadership, technology and the future of energy’.
