We caught up with Morgan Troedsson, Product Manager, Wind Energy Business Development, for an interview.
PES: Welcome to PES. Can you begin by telling us a little about your company and explaining how it serves the wind sector?
Morgan Troedsson: FORCE Technology is basically a Scandinavian consulting and testing service provider, recognised in several niche business areas, e.g. nuclear power generation, oil and gas, process industries.
As the cradle of wind power stood in Denmark many years ago, FORCE Technology focused early on servicing the emerging wind turbine market locally.
We have more than 15 years of hands-on experience in non-Destructive Testing(NDT) on turbine components. Rotor
blades and welded steel towers came to our attention early on.
Today FORCE Technology is a recognised international service and equipment provider, dealing with the global wind energy market. Not only major European stake-holders are included, but also major entities in the US, China, India and Brazil. Marketing is quite easy, as our reputation spreads around. I estimate that our P-scan program for automated inspection currently is technology and performance-wise market leading.
