HUSUM WIND brings renewables and industry together

Renewables, green hydrogen and decarbonizing the industry are key topics – with conference, forum programme and a special H2 Area

HUSUM | 29 June 2023. HUSUM WIND continues to expand its range of topics: At the industry fair in September, representatives from the wind sector, renewable energy economy and energy-intensive industry will meet on various platforms.

The national conference “Industry meets Renewables” deals with the challenges of the energy system for industry and businesses. Speakers will present solutions and best practice examples for supplying industry and other companies with renewables and green hydrogen, making production processes more flexible and increasing efficiency. The two-day special event from 11 to 12 September, under the patronage of German Economy Minister Robert Habeck and Schleswig Holstein’s Minister of the Environment Tobias Goldschmidt, will take place as part of the HUSUM WIND programme at the NordseeCongressCentrum (NCC). Organizers are the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein, Wasserstoffwirtschaft.SH, the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the industry association watt 2.0 e.V. A combined ticket is available for the conference and the fair.

Once again, green hydrogen is a special focus of HUSUM WIND. With an H2 Area in Hall 5 and an accompanying forum programme, the trade show offers a special platform for exhibitors to present product innovations and future technologies in this field. “It shows that green hydrogen and wind energy belong together. In Germany, wind is essential to produce green hydrogen, and in turn, the growing H2 economy has positive effects on the wind market. Business opportunities arise for both industries. The trade fair offers optimal formats to identify these,” says Arne Petersen, Project Manager of HUSUM WIND 2023.
