Glamox appoints its first Chief People & Culture Officer and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer


Natalie Wintermark and Nina Hol join Glamox’s executive leadership team

Oslo, Norway, 28 March 2023 – Glamox AS, a leading lighting company, is further strengthening its executive management team with two new appointments as the company sharpens its skills and capabilities as it focuses on growing its lighting business. Natalie Wintermark will join the company as its first Chief People and Culture Officer on 1 April 2023, whilst Group Marketing Director, Nina Hol, is appointed Chief Marketing and Communications Officer with immediate effect. Both report directly to Astrid Simonsen Joos, Group CEO of Glamox.

“Natalie and Nina bring considerable strengths and experience, including the latest digital practices in their respective fields. These important positions will take our HR and marketing functions to the next level as we further grow our business in providing LED luminaires and connected lighting for professional buildings and marine, offshore, and wind markets,” said Astrid Simonsen Joos, who joined Glamox as Group CEO in August last year. “People and Culture are at the heart of our business and marketing is a potent means to raise awareness and consideration of the Glamox brand.”

Natalie Wintermark, Chief People & Culture Office 

Natalie, who joins the company on 1 April 2023, will be based at the company’s Oslo headquarters. She has the responsibility for leading and developing the company’s Human Resources (HR) function and ensuring that the company’s culture and values are owned and lived across the group.

Natalie brings more than 20 years of international experience in strategic HR, business transformation, and talent development in B2B industries. Prior to Glamox, she was Vice President, Global People – Learning, Leadership & Growth at Yara ASA, a world leader in fertilisers and soil conditioning. At Yara she built a strong function from the ground up, establishing learning and leadership strategies, talent recruitment, and implemented digital HR processes to support the company’s growth aspirations.

Before Yara, Natalie held a variety of increasingly senior HR positions at ABB group, including Group Vice President, HR Competency Management Lead, for ABB Management Services Ltd, in Zurich, Switzerland. She was instrumental in strengthening the digital competencies of ABB’s Digital, Power and Automation division, enhancing its ability to recruit, develop, and retain the right talent while cultivating a unified value-based culture across 20 business units and 15 customer segments.

Natalie has an International MBA from École Supérieure de Commerce, Paris, France, an MBA from Université de Moncton, Canada, and a BA in Political Science and History from Mount Allison University, Canada. She has Canadian, Belgian, and Egyptian nationalities and is a native English and French speaker and fluent in Norwegian. She is married, has two children, and lives in Oslo.

Nina Hol, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

Nina Hol is appointed Chief Marketing and Communications Officer with immediate effect. Based in Molde, Norway, she has responsibility for the Group’s overall marketing and communications strategy and execution. This includes increasing the visibility of the Glamox brand and enhancing its digital and social presence.

Nina has worked at Glamox for 15 years, holding progressively more senior roles including the position of Group Marketing Director since May last year. During this time, she has built and led a strong team and last year was awarded the prestigious Best-of-the-Best RedDot award for a major refresh of the Glamox visual identity. The team is also building a reputation for campaigns that utilise the latest digital marketing technologies.

Prior to Glamox, Nina worked in various positions, including a teaching post at Romsdal High School, where she specialised in sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Before that she founded and ran a successful consultancy business, providing training, market analysis, and web and graphic design. Also, Nina gained several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Sales and Marketing Manager for IMS Health Norway.

Nina has qualifications in Marketing, Pedagogy, and Special Education from Buskerud University College and attended Molde University College where she studied Project Management. She is also a certified webmaster.
