A company founded and run by long-serving industry figureheads, Marten Seifert and Lorenz-Heinrich Carstensen, RECASE offers a pioneering consulting dynamic. We headed to Germany for a wide ranging interview with the respected executives.
PES: Welcome to PES. Would you like to introduce the company and tell us a little about how you serve the wind industry?
Marten Seifert: First of all thanks for having the possibility to elaborate on our company and what we find important for serving the wind industry.
We are a young entity, having been in the market for a little over two years now. Lorenz (Lorenz-Heinrich Carstensen) and I co-founded RECASE to provide our experience and expertise to the wind industry.
Between us, we have collected a well-founded knowledge of the wind industry and its technologies. We consider our main task and competence in the application of the technology, much more then inventing new technology, as there is, of course, excellent technology available in the market and under development right now.
As far as cost reduction is concerned – still is one of the main challenges of the industry – we see our contribution as enhanced, smart and focussed application of the technology available.
PES: Which of your three key strengths – consulting, engineering, project management – is most in demand right now? Why do you think this is?
