Digital energy transition is special feature of this year’s HUSUM WIND

Artificial intelligence, IT security, drone technology, blockchain, green IT: Digital technologies for renewable energies get own exhibition platform in hall 1

HUSUM | 6 April 2023. The special feature of this year’s HUSUM WIND is digital energy transition. Digital technologies have developed rapidly in recent years. They are key to an intelligent renewable energy system and enable the development of future-oriented products, services and business models.

In cooperation with BLOCKCHANCE, organiser of the largest blockchain conference in Germany, HUSUM WIND creates a special platform in hall 1 for future technologies and their applications in the renewable energy sector. A highlight will be the accompanying Digital+ Expert Forum. Experts from research, development and practice will demonstrate and discuss state-of-the-art solutions and pioneering business cases.

HUSUM WIND continues to expand its entire range of topics to present the renewable energy system and the integrative role of wind energy at the trade fair. As the most important energy source, onshore and offshore wind energy is central to the national energy transition. What began as Germany’s first wind fair and meeting point for the international wind industry in Husum in 1989, continues to develop into an integrative theme fair for renewable energies and transformation trends in the wind industry. In addition to onshore and offshore wind, further topics of the fair from 12-15 September are green hydrogen, sector coupling, storage, recycling & repowering and market-specific financing and funding solutions.
