PES: Welcome to PES. Would you like to introduce the company and tell us a little about how you serve the wind industry?
Benjamin Vordemfelde: SeaRenergy is
an independent provider of comprehensive services to all stakeholders in the offshore wind industry, starting from the design of transport and installation (T&I) concepts, installation, operation and maintenance (O&M). Our services include, but are not limited to, consultancy, project management, engineering services as well as offshore personnel and the full scope of marine operations and logistics.
Until today, our masterpiece has been the successful transport and installation of the two HVDC platforms BorWin beta and HelWin alpha on behalf of Siemens AG. The planning for these installations had already started in late 2011 when we were awarded an engineering contract for the T&I manual. Transport and installation was brought to a successful end in 2013 and 2014 with our dedicated project team, executing what we had planned before.
In early 2014, we also took a first step into the O&M market. Since then we have been part of the platform management teams of four HVDC platforms in the North Sea (BorWin beta, HelWin alpha & beta and SylWin alpha) providing nautical, technical and HSE expertise as well as superintendents, PTW administrators, deck foremen, material coordinators, crane drivers and riggers.
