According to Svend Andersen, CEO of BBC Chartering, “This new face for the company is a fresh fit for today’s increasingly complex global shipping market. Our new logo communicates our commitment to keeping our approach to shipping simple in the face of growing complexities in our worldwide markets.”

“A decade ago, BBC began as a small, reliable shipping partner with high performance standards and a
strong sense of stewardship with each job,” says Andersen.

“As we expand our fleet and our operations, it’s essential that we maintain the same simplicity and flexibility of a smaller company.”
“As the company grew, we became more widely known through powerful alliances,” says Andersen.
“These include partnerships with Asia Project Chartering (APC), Caytrans Project Services (Caytrans BBC), and Mediterranean Project Chartering (MPC). These partnerships helped the company expand our global presence as well as our services to reach customers and suppliers on every continent.”
About BBC Chartering – BBC was founded ten years ago, with a fleet of ten vessels serving a small
niche in the chartered shipping market. Today, with a fleet of more than 140 vessels, a global network of
21 offices, and an efficient structure staffed by more than 250 experienced and highly educated
employees, the company has become a recognized global shipping leader offering diverse cargo
delivery options ranging from the traditional tramp service to liner services with regular sailings, serving
the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Power industries all over the world.
