Augsburg, January 20th, 2022 – Streamergy GmbH, software and solution provider for renewable energies, has successfully completed its first financial year. With its first major order abroad, the company, which was founded at the beginning of 2021, is already positioning itself in the international PV market. Energy Asset Solutions Pvt Lt., based in Ahmedabad, India, relies on the Streamergy.cloud of the Augsburg-based startup. The aim of both companies is a long-term cooperation.
The Streamergy.cloud is a data hub that connects renewable energy systems such as photovoltaics, storage or wind turbines with user applications. The cloud-based data platform provides in real time all master and measurement data of plants and gives users complete data sovereignty. Manufacturers, EPCs or asset owners benefit from maximum flexibility: They can connect existing and future software solutions such as monitoring or asset management applications and can efficiently implement own solutions based on their centralized database.
Ashok Yadav, Managing Director of Energy Asset Solutions Pvt Lt., sees great potential in the novel data platform: “Since the beginning of the business foundation, I have been in close contact with the team of Streamergy. The business idea convinced me right away. With my experience from the international market environment, we want to internationalize Streamergy together.” In close cooperation with the Indian company, Streamergy is adapting the core functionalities of the data instance specifically to the requirements of the Asian market. The main advantage of this solution is that Energy Asset Solutions no longer has to deal with the integration and processing of the data. The Streamergy.cloud will take care of that. This means that Energy Asset Solutions can focus exclusively on solutions for its customers and new business models when offering operational management, monitoring and engineering services for PV and wind power plants. “This is crucial in the fast-paced renewable energy market,” Yadav explains and adds, “By deploying the Streamergy.cloud in India, we are also laying the groundwork for establishing Streamergy India and international sales companies.”
“Winning Asset Energy Solutions as our first international customer is an important milestone for our company. We are looking forward to the cooperation and are planning a long-term, global collaboration. India is a first, very promising market in this respect,” says Martin Schneider, Managing Director of Streamergy. With 47.4 gigawatts of installed photovoltaic capacity in 2020, the South Asian country currently ranks fifth in the world. By 2030, this value is expected to more than quadruple and reach up to 200 gigawatts.
