GRS renews maintenance contracts
for its three plants in Mexico

Madrid, 31st January.- The operation and maintenance (O&M) division of GRS strengthens its presence in Mexico after reaching an agreement with Balam Fund to renew the contracts for the Camargo, Energía Limpia de La Laguna and Salsipuedes Solar photovoltaic plants. In this way, the company belonging to the Gransolar Group will maintain its activity in the three large installations built by its teams, which total around 110 MWp, for a further two years.

The agreement with Balam Fund involves the extension of the operation and maintenance tasks until December 2025, two more years in which GRS’s work will continue to be essential to maximize the performance of the three plants and guarantee their correct operation during their useful life.

With the renewal of these contracts, GRS O&M now manages more than 1,620 MW of PV plants worldwide, including 110 MW in Latin America. This is a preferred market for the growth of renewable energies, where the EPC construction company has completed a total of 17 projects in 8 different countries.

The Camargo PV plant (35 MW) was the first of five projects that GRS has built in Mexico. Then followed, among others, Energía Limpia de La Laguna (35.48 MW) and Salsipuedes Solar (40 MW), all of which were developed for Balam Fund.

“The renewal of these agreements is the result of the collaboration that we started with GRS with the construction of those three plants and that we are very pleased to extend”, Balam Fund assures.

Jesús Aguilar, director of GRS O&M, also celebrated the renewal of this agreement. “We are living a key stage in O&M, favored by the exponential growth of plants built around the world, together with the renovations of plants already in operation since the beginning, and that leads us to continue putting all our efforts in offering added value and guarantees of success to our customers,” he said.
