The Scottish Government has today launched its Green Jobs Workforce Academy, which will allow people to access information, advice and skills needed to thrive in a net-zero economy.

Responding, Claire Mack, Chief Executive of Scottish Renewables, said:

“Putting people at the heart of the energy transition will help us not only to allow our current workers to maintain and add to their skills to ensure they have a sustainable career path, but it also means that Scotland will continue to develop a world-class low-carbon labour market with skills that will be in demand across the globe as other countries follow in Scotland’s footsteps to decarbonise their electricity, transport and heating energy demand.”
