Delegation of Senior Government Officials Visits Yingli Green Energy Headquarters


Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) (“Yingli Green Energy” or the “Company”), a leading solar energy company and one of the world’s largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers, which holds the brand “Yingli Solar,” today announced a senior government delegation including Jiang Zemin, former President of China, Zeng Peiyan, former Vice Premier of China, and Zhang Guobao, Director of the National Energy Administration of China, visited Yingli Green Energy’s headquarters in Baoding on March 5 and 6, 2010.

During the two-day tour, the delegation visited Yingli Green Energy’s vertically-integrated manufacturing facilities, including the Company’s state-of-the-art polysilicon manufacturing plant, Fine Silicon. The delegation was briefed by the Company’s management on the Company’s business strategies, market position as well as prospects of the PV industry, especially in China. The delegation showed great interest throughout the tour, and congratulated the Company on its leading position in the industry and its contributions to society.

Mr. Miao also noted news reports that the agendas for this year’s plenary sessions of the National People’s Congress and the People’s Political Consultative Conference in Beijing include topics such as enhancing environmental protection and developing a low carbon economy, which is a positive sign for the continued growth of the domestic PV market and China-based solar companies.
