With the SOLARWATT ENERGY SOLUTION starter kit, comprised of the Energy Manager and the SOLARWATT Energy Portal, SOLARWATT now offers entry into a comprehensive and reliable system for economic internal supply. In order to maximize the internal supply, in addition to a high-performance solar system on the roof, intelligent energy control within the house is also required.
Independent energy supply at calculable prices

The SOLARWATT ENERGY SOLUTION starter kit is comprised of two primary components for the market introduction: the Energy Manager and the SOLARWATT Energy Portal. The core of the system solution is the SOLARWATT Energy Manager, which intelligently integrates solar energy into the energy system of a house and captures and analyses data on the solar power system as well as energy consumption in the household with precision down to the second. Controlled at any time online via PC, tablet or smartphone, the SOLARWATT Energy Manager independently starts devices at favorable times according to individual preferences and thereby effectively optimizes the energy consumption. For example, this allows heat pumps, air conditioners and household devices to be controlled automatically or manually on the go as soon as the solar system is producing sufficient electricity for the application. The devices are also simply and securely controlled by the Energy Manager via wireless interfaces.
With the data collected for the power generation and consumption, users of the Energy Manager can calculate exactly how much they are able to save with the addition of the SOLARWATT storage solution. If the solar power generated in the day is more than the household consumption, in the future it will no longer be necessary to feed it into the grid. Instead the power can be stored and then used when it is needed in the household – such as at night time. The amount saved is the difference between the feed-in price and the power price that the SOLARWATT ENERGY SOLUTION user would have to pay when drawing from the grid.
