Solaxess© receives the 2021 Watt d’Or as partner of the residential district project in Männedorf (ZH)

On January 7th, this year, the award ceremony for the Watt d’Or 2021 trophies was held in Bern by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE). Among the five categories of the competition, the one for “Buildings and Spatial development” was won by Umwelt Arena Schweiz and the architectural office René Schmid Architekten AG.

It is with great pride that Walter Schmid and René Schmid shared their enthusiasm by citing the names of their partners who contributed to the success of this project. Among the partners of choice, Solaxess SA stands out for the integration of its white film technology in the photovoltaic panels (manufactured by New ISSOL, Belgium) installed on the facades of the buildings. Winner of the Watt d’Or 2021, this distinction awarded to Solaxess SA emphasizes the best energy performance under the aegis of the SFOE.
