Solar Racking Systems Designed To Impress

Designed to impress – Wagner Solar UK Ltd (hereafter Wagner Solar) is pleased to announce the introduction of new roof brackets, designed and developed specially for the UK market. Most PV and Solar Thermal roof brackets found here in the UK have been designed for the German market, often making them unsuitable for British roofs which tend to have narrower rafters and are not suitable for the thicker German fixings.

Commenting on the new products, Jan Stasik, Technical Manager at Wagner Solar, “Our pre-assembled clamps with front-side fixing have historically been received very favourably by installers who can save valuable time using our products. These new brackets continue to include the popular features from our mounting series but with new innovations to allow installers to save further time and with added aesthetics that make our solar thermal collectors look like skylights!”

Solar Thermal

The new A1 flash Top and P UK Stv TOP are now completing our successful series of roof-brackets in the solar thermal section. Specifically designed for UK roofs, the A1 flash fits perfectly onto slate tiles, plain tiles and peg tiles. Due to the very low protrusion of the collector with less back side ventilation this bracket enables a significant increase in the collector performance. In addition, the low protrusion leads to a very appealing visual effect. Thanks to the use of flashing with a size of 250 x 381 mm, the integration of an elevated punch hole as well as an EPDM sealing, the water tightness of the roof is guaranteed. A great advantage is the pre-assembled TOP mounting clamp system, where the rail can be easily hooked in, keeping the time saving features which our popular amongst installers.

The P UK Stv TOP is primarily made for pan tiles. With a bracket elbow of 60mm the P UK Stv TOP has a very high resistance against extreme weather conditions. The short elbow reduces the distance between the collector and the roof and thus reduces the back side ventilation which in turn improves the collector performance whilst providing an aesthetically pleasing installation.
