Solar-Fabrik repair programme with online test tool and certificate retention

Hamburg/Germany, July 2015, 1 – Suncycle, one of the leading service providers in the solar sector has developed an online test tool and a repair process for defective junction boxes of PV modules made by the manufacturer Solar-Fabrik. Suncycle repairs or replaces the junction boxes concerned, which involve a fire hazard, and provides system owners with the necessary certainty for further operation. The special thing about the repair process that Suncycle developed together with Solar-Fabrik is that all of the module certificates originally issued by Solar-Fabrik retain their validity also after the repairs.

Suncycle has set up an online tool with which it can be checked quickly and without obligation whether the serial numbers of the modules originate from the faulty production batch. Under http://solarfabrik.suncycle.eu/ you can find not only the serial number check, but also answers to frequently asked questions as well as a form with which a non-binding repair can be quickly and easily requested.

Suncycle provides, besides repairs to junction boxes in its own PV repair and performance centre, also on-the-spot repairs as an express solution. The Suncycle team gladly replies to inquiries and handles fast detailed planning of the repairs. Operators of systems with Solar-Fabrik modules throughout Europe can apply for repairs as from now.

Queries concerning the subject of the Solar-Fabrik repair programme are answered by the Suncycle Service Centre on +49 (0) 3643 8300 725 as well as by e-mail at solarfabrik@suncycle.eu.
