skytron® energy presents new hybrid controller for power plant owners at Intersolar 2015

Smart integration of PV systems and diesel generators with skyhybrid

Berlin, 9 June 2015 – skytron® energy will present its new hybrid power plant controller skyhybrid for the first time at Intersolar Europe in Munich. The system was specially developed for hybrid power plants and enables the intelligent integration of PV, storage and diesel generators.
With skyhybrid, skytron energy offers power plant operators a new controller to optimally integrate the elements of their hybrid systems. The combination of renewable and fossil energy production and the optional connection of a storage system means plant operators can always be sure of receiving power at the lowest cost. skyhybrid calculates the optimal settings for the PV system, adjusts the production according to the diesel generator state and assures that a sufficient spinning reserve is always maintained.

skyhybrid is particularly well suited to ensuring a stable power supply in remote locations with unreliable networks while simultaneously reducing the costs and emissions related to fossil fuels.

With its many years of experience and constantly developing technology, skytron energy is a leader in the integration of power plants into the electricity grid. skyhybrid is perfectly embedded into skytron energy’s proven power plant controller skycontrol and contributes to grid and voltage stability. In combination with skytron energy’s remote operated monitoring and supervision software PVGuard®, it gives plant operators a complete overview of their energy systems, allowing them to manage the situation in their plant from the control room. skyhybrid is independent of the inverter and generator manufacturer.
Come visit us at Intersolar Europe from 10-12 June 2015 at Booth A1.351.
