Deutsche Windtechnik’s flexibility and professional approach secures yet another full-scope contract including major components: from 30 January 2025, over the next five years, Deutsche Windtechnik will continue to be responsible for the maintenance of 25 Senvion MM82 and MM92 turbines at Hyndburn, Withernwick and Withernwick Extension wind farms, operated by Energiekontor.
Deutsche Windtechnik (DWT) has been successfully working as a trusted partner with Energiekontor for many years. The turbines’ full-scope maintenance contract (including Major Components) has been in effect since January 2020.
Jessika Dröge, Asset Manager at Energiekontor, said: “We are thrilled to partner with DWT. From our very first interactions, DWT’s Team has demonstrated an exceptional level of competence. Their ability to tailor solutions to our specific needs, coupled with their deep industry experience made it clear that they were the right partner for us.”
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Energiekontor – the renewal of the contract demonstrates trust and is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in our sector. Our comprehensive knowledge of Senvion turbines (in addition to the range of other technologies we support) form a strong basis for continued success,” said Christina de Vries, Managing Director of Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd.
With this renewed contract, leading multi-brand independent service provider, DWT now has 72 Senvion wind turbines under contract in the UK alone. Worldwide, DWT has more than 13 GW under maintenance contract with almost 500 of the almost 8,000 turbines supported built by Senvion, and more than two-thirds of these have full-scope maintenance contracts.
