SGS Presents Wind Energy Services at the Korea Green Energy Show 2009

The SGS Wind Energy Competence Center participated in the Korea GreenEnergy Show 2009 as the main exhibition for the energy industry in Korea.Attendees had the chance to learn more about the project life cycle of windturbines and about the services that SGS offers in each phase, such as WindFarm Project Certification, Blade Inspection and Condition Monitoring.

The Korea Green Energy Show 2009, which took place in Seoul from October 13to 16, is the most important exhibition dedicated to the energy industry inKorea. With 5 pavilions – Fuel, Heat Using Equipment, Electrical Equipment,Renewable Energy, Parts and Components, Public and R&D – the energy show wasa very effective occasion to present energy-related products andtechnologies. The event successfully gathered energy experts andpractitioners to share their knowledge and experience within the industry.

For SGS Industrial Services, it was a good opportunity to participate inthis event not only to stay up-to-date with new technologies and the latestdevelopments in the energy industry, but also to demonstrate its Wind EnergyServices throughout the project life cycle of wind turbines, such as WindFarm Project Certification, Blade Inspection and Condition Monitoring. TheSGS team of experts provided visitors with the latest information abouttheir Wind Energy Services and in turn, visitors had the opportunity to askquestions and discuss actual topics with the SGS team.

The range of services that SGS offers for the wind energy sector spans allstages of wind farm projects, ranging from Project Feasibility Assessments,through Wind Farm Project Certification, to Review of Maintenance ManagementPrograms and Condition Monitoring.
