On the market for a year now, HOPPECKE’s high-performance large hybrid storage system has been given a new name that precisely describes its unique advantages. The sun|systemizer scalecube has a modular structure and can therefore be configured individually for every customer requirement. Not only is the storage capacity scalable, also the lead and lithium storage technologies can be precisely combined. The container solution avoids high construction costs, brings flexibility and offers a unique security concept.
“With the new name scalecube, we want to emphasize even more how flexible we design the large scale storage system. We have the right shoe for every foot, so to speak. This makes our solution interesting for a wide variety of applications. It stabilizes our power grid, but is also used in industrial plants to buffer peak consumption, resulting in considerable investment savings. In addition, the field of application of renewable energy, including climate-neutral electric mobility, is becoming increasingly important,” says Frederik Süllwald, International Key Account Manager Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at HOPPECKE.
In addition to the first large-scale hybrid storage system built as a model and reference project directly on the HOPPECKE site in Brilon, further storage systems have already been built all over the world in recent months. The sun|systemizer scalecube is offered from an energy content of 500 kWh, there are no upper limits. The largest photovoltaic plant project in Asia to date has a storage capacity of around 100 MWh.
Thanks to the innovative rack system in the containers, the large scale storage system achieves maximum stored power in the smallest possible area. Customers are also particularly interested in the fire protection concept, which is only offered in this form by HOPPECKE. The lithium batteries are secured at module level, which means that even in the event of an incident a fire is severely limited locally.
The individual customer solution of scalecube also includes maintenance, updates and service after the installation of the system. In addition, HOPPECKE advises on questions of economy and offers tailor-made rental and purchase models.
At the Intersolar and ees Europe 2018 trade fair, which takes place from 20 to 22 June at the Munich Trade Fair Centre, experts from HOPPECK will be available in Hall B1, Stand 554 to answer your questions about the modular large hybrid storage system and will be happy to show you what your individual energy storage solution can look like.
