Rehm Thermal Systems share valuable experience with manufacturers at solar seminar

Rehm Thermal Systems recently held a free solar seminar in Suzhou, China, entitled ‘Thermal Solutions for the Metallization Line’. Attended by some of the industry’s leading technical experts, the strong turnout benefitted from the chance to learn how to be more productive in the field of solar cell metallization. Throughout the seminar, experts from Rehm provided visitors with information on how the thermal technology specialist’s innovative drying and firing technologies could transform their commercial solar cell production potential.

Through a series of informative presentations, attendees were given an introduction to Rehm’s groundbreaking RDS Drying Systems, including advanced process features such as an innovative Thermal Oxidizer. Attendees were also introduced to the benefits of RFS Fast-Firing Systems, including low energy consumption and a compact footprint for enhanced metallization performance. Other subjects discussed at the Rehm Solar Seminar included how to deploy a thermal oxidizer for low VOC rates and how to utilise Innovalight Technology for high efficiency solar cells. Head of Rehm Thermal Systems’ Development and Technology Department, Dr. Hans Bell, and Head of Innovalight China Sales, Raymond Meng, delivered the seminar which was very well received by all in attendance.

Commenting on the seminar, Rehm CEO, Johannes Rehm, stated: “It was great to see so many industry professionals in attendance on the day and we were pleased to be able to deliver some valuable information to them about driving productivity within the solar market, critical in such a fast-paced industry. Our seminar provided a fantastic opportunity for PV manufacturers to learn for wafer metallization how to take their business to the next level in terms of commercial solar cell production. We put our 20-plus years of experience as a thermal solutions specialist to good use; passing on all the knowledge we’ve accumulated along the way to those who attended.”
