Oldcastle Precast will be co-presenting a free seminar titled “Commercial-Scale Solar Mounting System Solutions” at the SOLAR 2010 Conference May 17-22 in Dallas, Texas. This four hour session, a collaboration between Oldcastle Precast and Conenergy, details Conenergy’s revolutionary SolarGiantII, which represents a significant advance in the state of the art ground-mounted PV arrays, and Oldcastle Precast‘s new product series – independent precast concrete footings for ground mounted solar electrical systems. A 5KW SolarGiant III will actually be assembled and erected in the session and demonstrate the SolarGiant’s unique features and the ease and speed of assembly. The seminar takes place on May 18th at Solar 2010. This seminar applies to solar energy industry installers, engineers, and specifiers.
Oldcastle Precast will also be exhibiting at SOLAR 2010 and showcasing their newest product series — independent precast concrete footings for ground mounted solar electrical systems– designed for use in the most demanding solar panel applications where the panels need to be secured in unstable, environmentally sensitive, or impenetrable ground conditions. Oldcastle Precast is the leading manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete and plastic products in the United States.
The National Solar Conference is the longest-running educational event for solar energy professionals in the U.S. Now in its 39th year, the SOLAR 2010 program is developed by solar energy experts in all topical areas – technology, buildings, policy, professional education, workforce development, and consumer education.
