MAGE SOLAR establishes new subsidiary MAGE SOLAR ACADEMY GMBH

Following the successful start of the MAGE SOLAR ACADEMY at MAGE SOLAR’s North American location in Dublin, Georgia, in January, the photovoltaic supplier is now also establishing an academy at their German headquarters in Ravensburg, whereby it is bundling its training provision.

MAGE SOLAR AG, part of the global MAGE GROUP, has founded a new subsidiary, the MAGE SOLAR ACADEMY GMBH. This 100 per cent subsidiary is to bundle the previous training provision for professional tradesmen and employees, and the existing professional development and qualification measures will thereby be extended systematically.

In addition to practice-oriented seminars about products and new technologies the customer syllabus also includes interdisciplinary courses like for example marketing workshops. With the academy MAGE SOLAR is creating a training facility, where partners of professional trades, employees and people with an interest in photovoltaics can expand their knowledge.

The company has already opened a photovoltaic academy at its US location in Dublin, Georgia at the end of January 2011.

“In order to have lasting success in the dynamic photovoltaic sector, experts, too, must take part in continued further training. With the MAGE SOLAR ACADEMY we are supporting our partners in this effort,” says Dr. Markus Feil, CEO of MAGE SOLAR AG. “We see the Academy as a training market place, where knowledge is imparted and exchanged. The great success of our Academy in Dublin, Georgia, confirms our concept.”

The majority of seminars will be held at MAGE SOLAR AG’s training centre at its German headquarters in Ravensburg, but some will also be organised on location of the training participants.
