Ingeteam Repowers +250 MW Solar Plant in the US

Ingeteam has supplied over 250 PV inverters for a solar plant inCalifornia.

Throughout the past year, Ingeteam has manufactured and commissioned morethan 250 INGECON SUN 935TL U B360 1500 V inverters that will modernize anexisting site, which originally became operational over a decade ago. With thisrepowering, the plant is expected to increase its output and improveefficiency.

Ingeteam Inc.’s VP & General Manager of PV and BESS, Nohra Nasr,notes “the INGECON SUN B Series inverter has been deployed in the USA andworldwide for nearly a decade. This project is a testament to Ingeteam’s longterm commitment to asset owners to maintain and support our previous generationproducts over the lifetime of the project while also repowering sites thatoriginally featured other brands of inverters.” To date, Ingeteam Inc. hassupplied over 6 GW of its family of inverters to PV and BESS projects acrossthe United States and Ingeteam has installed more than 36 GW of invertersworldwide.

All spare parts, after sales services and testing needs for the USA aresupported by Ingeteam’s facility in Milwaukee, WI.
