Ingeteam exceeds 120 MW of PV power supplied in Chile

  •  The company is a leader in renewable energy O&M contracts in Latin America.
  •  In September, Ingeteam is to take part in the Chilean International Renewable Energy Congress (CIREC).

Pamplona, Spain. Septembre 8, 2014.
Ingeteam has exceeded120 MW of PV power supplied in Chile. This record figure has been achieved thanks to the good results obtained with the INGECON SUN PowerMax central inverters, featuring a rated power of 1 MW and a maximum efficiency of 99.1%. These inverters have been installed in a solar plant with a 100 MW power output, being the largest plant in operation in Latin America to date. This plant is located in the Atacama Desert, famous for being the driest place on earth. Thanks to the unbeatable solar radiation levels recorded in this region, the plant is expected to generate up to 270 GWh of energy per year, which will prevent the emission of 135,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Ingeteam is a leader in renewable energy plant O&M in Latin America, with contracts totalling 1.2 GW. The company has a subsidiary in Santiago de Chile, which has now been operating for over 3 years.

Ingeteam is sponsoring the most important R.E. event in Chile. Stand B104.

Ingeteam is to take part, as a Silver Sponsor, in the key renewable energies event in Chile, namely the Chilean International Renewable Energy Congress (CIREC) to be held in Santiago de Chile on the 9th and 10th September (Stand B104). The company will be present at this congress as the leading manufacture of solar inverters in Chile, thanks to the 120 MW supplied to the solar market in this country. Ingeteam is to showcase its latest products in the area of solar inverters for residential facilities and for large PV plants.

In the series of conference papers to be presented at the CIREC, Óscar González, the Business Development Manager of Ingeteam in Chile, will provide details of Ingeteam’s solutions for the integration of energy storage systems in diesel networks. This conference will be held on Tuesday, 9th September at 15:45. Likewise, Luis Moreno, the Ingeteam Service Sales Manager, is to present the future actions of Ingeteam to meet the demand of the Chilean industry with regard to wind and PV plant O&M tasks.
