From 16 to 19 September, the trade fair will highlight “Green Hydrogen” as one of this year’s special topics. The Hydrogen Area showcases the entire value chain. An open forum with expert lectures, the German-Danish Energy Dialogue, and international experts will provide valuable insights into current research, innovative technologies, and forward-looking infrastructure.
Husum, 27 February 2025 – Green hydrogen has become an indispensable energy carrier for the long-term success of the energy transition. That is why HUSUM WIND 2025 is dedicating a key focus to this topic. In September, numerous exhibitors will showcase products and technologies along the entire value chain – from production and storage to the application of green hydrogen – across approximately 650 m² in Hall 2.
Hydrogen Forum: knowledge, dialogue and future prospects
In addition to the trade exhibition, the open Hydrogen Forum (stand 2D34) will offer insights into key topics on all days of the trade fair: How do projects with green hydrogen promote the market ramp-up? What findings and collaborations from industry and research are supporting this process? How are networks and infrastructure being developed and remodelled?
The focus is on reports and discussions on:
- Research and technology transfer
- Technology, components and practice
- Infrastructure
- Skilled labour requirements and recruitment
- German-Danish Energy Dialogue
High-calibre experts and international exchange
Friederike Lassen, Board Member of the German Hydrogen Association (DWV) e.V., will open the forum at the start of the trade fair. On the second day, the German-Danish Chamber of Commerce will host the German-Danish Energy Dialogue on hydrogen, bringing together representatives from politics and industry. Denmark is this year’s partner country of HUSUM WIND.
National and international speakers will present on current topics and issues, engaging in discussions with the audience. The forum provides insights into the state of technology, highlights key tasks and challenges, and facilitates direct exchange with experts and companies on-site.
WindAdvice GmbH and the renewable energy industry association watt_2.0 e.V. are jointly organising the event programme with the State Coordination Office for the Hydrogen Economy SH. The programme is aimed at professionals from business, industry, research, and politics.
